~ Individual Sessions are $75.00 per person.
~ Schools may register up to 5 individuals per session
~ Schools that register will receive a link to have others from the school view the webinar for up to 30 days after the event.

TOPIC: "Tropical Botany, Conservation and Environmental Sustainability"
Chris will present on findings in his work and research in the Amazon, West French Indies, and the Guiana Shield and his local work on urban landscape in Coconut Grove. This is a session that your Science teachers, and those who develop local partnerships between schools and local institutions will enjoy, as Chris will also talk about the research our teachers can participate in at the Center, and the research and projects our students can participate in at the Center.

There are lots of reasons to give students brain breaks. Quick pauses in learning relieve stress, reduce cognitive overload, break up monotony, and strengthen social bonds. Short mental recesses allow students to reboot so they can refocus. Let’s explore strategic intermissions that include interactive websites, satisfying videos, and zippy activities that bring about joy, connection, and curiosity.
